What We Do

Since 2010, councils have collaborated to enhance their performance through a 'sector-led improvement' process, typically on a regional basis. This process has historically involved sharing information and data and teams of council practitioners and managers conducting peer reviews of other authorities.

From April 2023, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) commenced its assessments of the performance of local authorities in discharging their 'regulated care functions' under Part 1 of the Care Act 2014 as a result of the Health and Care Act 2022. To support this new assessment process, CQC has developed their new 'single assessment framework', which consists of four main themes and nine 'we and I' quality statements that local authorities will be assessed against.

To guarantee your complete readiness for CQC assessment, SCHC has created various affordable and efficient solutions that address all aspects outlined in each quality statement. Whether you need assistance managing waiting lists or improving your Preparing for Adulthood Pathway, we offer a proven and highly dependable solution.
